Garden City Police Station - To remodel a 428 square foot interior portion of an existing 9,968 square foot, type VB, building. The existing Holding Cell area of the station will be demolished and replaced with two interview rooms, an observation room and one fully accessible toilet room. Work to include: construct new interior walls, doors, and associated construction to create a new accessible restroom, new interview rooms, and observation room; installation of a suspended acoustical ceiling system; installation of a structural beam per plans; related interior finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC; plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work. All work per the approved plans, attached plan review report, and all other reviewing agencies approvals. NOTE: This building is not fire sprinklered.
