This project is for the repair of fire damage to an existing 1,108 s.f. manufactured single family home. Work to include: remove 6 charred roof trusses and replace with new engineered trusses per truss engineering; replace roof sheathing and roof assembly; rebuild fire damaged gable end wall; remove and replace damaged windows and doors; remove and replace a small section of sub floor sheathing; clean and repaint smoke damaged surfaces. All work per the approved plans and the structural inspectors final approval. The Building Official has determined carbon monoxide poisoning, smoke and fire related hazards to be specific hazards associated with buildings and/or structures without smoke and carbon monoxide detection and alarm systems that do not meet current building codes. Carbon monoxide poisoning, smoke and fire related hazards are substantial hazards because the likelihood of death and or injury from said hazards increases in buildings and/or structures. The existing portions of buildings or structures with non-existent or inadequate smoke and carbon monoxide detection and alarm systems that do not meet current building codes must be retrofitted to meet current code requirements. A certificate of completion shall be issued when work is completed and a final inspection has occurred. **SRZ**
