per your request..this time includes tues and wed both..i stopped by the job site and dropped off my set of manuf specs for the w/h..i told the g/c? i wouldn't tell them how to install the w/h as this is all per manuf..once the heating contractor has installed it, i will inspect it at that point..drake still has no permit at this time..dixie

per dixie..this contractor didn't do the venting on the tankless w/h, i'm using his permit to document only. drake called me tues to let me know they will be permitting the w/h and gas cook-top and bringing them up to code. i told them to install the w/h per manuf and the specs are on site. i will need to see the full length of the flue to verify it's the correct material, slope, etc. the cook-top will have to be removed due to the fact they need 8" at each side to any combustibles and they have 1". they only have 26" to a combustible shroud above the range, so it will have to be removed. i informed them they could call the manuf and ask the engineering dept if they would accept any alternatives.
