Met with Richard Katchner and Chris the general to discuss the return air in basement and the bread oven at main level. Engineer is to provide drawing of return ducting into kitchen and in the office. Also to provide letter stating the bread oven is ok without hood.

The chase built to continue to the first floor is required to be built as a rated shaft design per the mechanical plans.
The return air at the basement cannot terminate as above ceiling and create a plenum. Must be ducted to the kitchen area. Called the mechanical engineer and informed him of these issues that are going to need to be addressed.
