complaint call from person who called in, said owner reroofed w/out permit, site visit did not show any roofing or past work on roof that I could see, also complaint person revealed that he (Jim) had prior conflict w/ owner (Bill) and called OSHA on him and was head of pta at school, and had problems w/ Bill before on another job, said that he thought Bill would lie etc., etc., etc.
I called Bill and asked if a new roof had been put on and he said maybe 10 years ago, said he had taken the old screen out of porch and is going to put new back in, I told him that so far I did not feel he needed a building permit, he also said he was going to seek legal matters for harassment on person who was complaining. 10/30/2001 10:56:34 AM
