(MCDOWELL POOL) This permit is issued to document an existing condition of an inground pool with deck previously constructed without a building permit in Ada County and annexed into Boise City on 12/13/2003. Attached to this permit are the following documents: (1) Site plan provided by owner, (2) Structural engineers pool calculation and design by Gary Miller, P.E. of Fox Pools, (3) Photographs during construction provided by the owner, (4) Pool plumbing line pressure verfication by American Leak Detection dated 11/14/02, (5) Pool inspection and repair letter from Pools West dated 3/4/03, (6) Geotechnical engineering reports by MTI dated 12/24/03, 3/5/04 and 3/25/04 substantiating the ground around the pool as stable, and (7) Letter by H. Wayne Gibbs, Interim PDS Dept. Director, regarding setback requirements of the Boise City Zoning Ordinance. No work or inspections are required by this permit. Supporting documentation supplied varifies the pool structure and stablility of surrounding ground. Letter from Mr. Gibbs states that the City Planning Staff cannot certify zoning compliance. (mys)
