The tamper switch that is shown on the sprinkler plans has wire already run to the facp but no permit. The store manager did not know who ran the wire. I told him that it required permits and would be required prior to signing a final for the store. I notified Mary about the alarm work.

A temporary occupancy was given until items on the correction notice have been addressed. These items include overspaced pendants, missing canopies, column blockage and uprights at draftstops are overspaced. Rear doors are bolted and locked shut. Exit sign and emergency light missing at the southeast exit. Other exit signs and emergency lights have not been tested. Not all fire extinguishers have been installed. Door hardware needs to be re-installed on the northwest exit. Owner needs to hire a fire sprinkler contractor to correctly access all deficiencies. There is also a valve on an anti-freeze loop that is not electronically monitored. This will be turned over to the fire dept for further action. 10/25/2004 2:41:21 PM
