Complaint of shifting/settling foundation. Susan @ ###-####. Arrived on site to evaluate complaint of settling foundation. Notd that house was a two story house. Did observe cracks in foundation at lower level, and noted hat backyard slab had settled significatlly. Also noted that one window would not close properly due to oening being ut of square. Did not observe any cracks on interior sheet rock. Home owners are planng a remodel, but were concerned about settling. Noted to homeowners to contact a structural enineer to observe the cracking. Also noted that more investegation may be needed by a geo-tech organazation. Noted to homeowners that I coul not tell for sure if foundation was settling and that further investagation would be needed.
