Complaint about possible retaining wall repair
Contractor removed CMU type retaining wall blocks that were 2 high ( approx. 18"). Then dug approx 6" down and 10" wide for a footing approx. 50' long. The contr will then put the blocks back on the footing. The finished product will measure approx. 22" in height which does not fall under the definition of a retaining wall per the Bldg code. This falls more under landscaping.
