Loraine Clayton called with a complaint about the safety conditions of this building these are the issues she had, bare light bulbs at age 2 child level (said one child reached out and touched the bare light bulb) extension cords and out lets with in reach of children. Fire exits as she didn't see and exit signs,occupancy load as she said it was so crowded she could hardly move , the last issue was that it was required that people was there hands bur they only had cloth towels to dry your hands.

Carol Mongomery with zoning enforcement, Jeremy Kircher with Firwe Dept. and I visited site to issue a citation for working with out permits, Ammon Covino the director was not available. We discussed the issues with Cris Conk and fire provided a notice of violation and a copy of the October 12th letter to Chris.

After receipt of complaint from fire department Tom and I visited the site yesterday, 11/5, and issued a SWO to Ammon for working without applicable permits in the tenant space directly west of the existing aquarium space. Ammon has created two openings in the tenant wall, constructed and anchored display cages, constructed concrete form work for new tanks, altered existing plumbing for the installation of a washing machine and is using the space for storage. Any future permits for this locationn shall be a double fee.
