Entered last inspection by mistake........Talked to homeowner .....Eric. He wasn't very happy about the situation. He said the structure is less than 200 sq. ft. and used for storage. considering the situation, with prior complaints without merit..... I took him on his word and told him a permit was not required.

I received a complaint regarding an addition to the garage at the following property. I have verified the complaint and was able to see from two neighboring properties new framing that ties into an existing garage. A Notice of Violation will be sent today for the violation. I wanted to have PDS involved as well. No one at home. Left correction on front door. Contact me....need to verify that a permit is required for the work you are doing.
