334.12(B)(4)- NM cable shall not be installed in wet or damp locations. NM cable exposed on exterior of house with short sections of PVC conduits installed over it. Also under back patio and jump to outdoor sheds. Expose is a wet location, interior of a conduit is a damp location.
334.15(B)- NM cable shall not be installed where subject to physical damage. All expose wiring below 8' is subject to physical damage and shall be protected from accidental contact.
