Description
Application for inspection to determine requirements for issuance of a "TEMPORARY CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY", for a 90 day period, per Resolution #13533, while application, plans & design details are prepared to address existing Code deficiences within the tenant space for the proposed new tenant, to include: 1)accessibility issues into & within the space including restrooms; 2)installation of new exit "means of egress" for proper exit separation; 3)engineering for and installation design & calcs for proposed steel racks over 8 feet in height; 4)exit signs & illumination; 5)ventilation requirements based on occupancy & use; 6)other code items revealed based on architects code analysis of existing space; 7)high-pile combustible storage & sprinkler system/alarm upgrades, all as addressed in the 1997 editions of the UBC, UFC, UPC & UMC as adopted by Boise City. Approval of this application for temporary occupancy by the fire & structural inspectors is based on a review for/of imminent hazards & their correction, per inspectors, and the limits of use of the facility to the following until application & plans have been submitted, reviewed and approved; a permit issued; required work done and final occupancy given: 1)no materials storage or stacking of product will exceed twelve feet in height; no installation of steel storage racks until required design information is presented, approved and permitted (separate permit per city plan review policy); clear "exit access" paths will be continuously maintained to the two existing exit doors at all time and the doors will have hardware in compliance with section 1003.3.1.8, 1997 UBC, as condition of temporary occupancy. THIS PERMIT DOES NOT AUTHORIZE ANY TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION. New proposed tenant use is combination of office, storage and installation / assembly of accessory components on previously completed fiberglass tub & shower forms, as ordered by customers; and packaging and shipping, within a 15,886 square foot space.
