(BELMONT PLAZA FACADE) **The fire sprinkler system is used for unlimited area of the building AND to allow 3-hr fire barrier walls in lieu of fire walls. The fire sprinkler system is NOT allowed to be used for building area increase for A Occupancies. This façade addition is not required to be sprinklered. The canopies will comply with NFPA 13-8.15.1.2.2 as noncombustible concealed spaces. No combustible materials can be stored or displayed underneath the façade addition. Permit for upgrades to the facade. Work to include the demolition of exterior signage canopy/awning and sidewalk; new sidewalk; installation of new exterior finishes to include new stucco on metal studs built over the existing CMU exterior bearing wall, which is to remain, and new awnings. Special Inspections required per attached form 310. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. This permit is for shell work only. This permit is not intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant or for any portion of this building. Each tenant is required to apply for their own permit to do tenant improvement work and to establish occupancy. **JAR**
