Permit for the remodel of an existing 12,060 sq ft office and warehouse used as a 24-hour ambulance dispatch center and includes garaged parking for vehicles, interior offices, staff lounge, small kitchen, and conference area. A 1,026 sq ft portion of the existing building will be demolished for a total building area of 11,034 sq ft and a portion of the existing storage area will be converted to office. The proposed occupancy classification is B & S-1 and is not approved for “R” occupancy. New interior finishes in compliance with Ch. 8 of the 2012 IBC. The remodeled area life safety is passed. Before a final the exit lights/emergency lights/exit discharge lights for the north side bay and the south side bay garage door needs to be installed and tested, also the main exit will need its discharge light, sticker, and indicator.
