The Maximum Allowable Area Allowed was calculated for this building being the largest in the project. To construct a 30,498 square foot three story VB Type of Construction apartment building (10,184 sq. ft. 1st story 10,157 sq. ft. 2nd story 10,157 sq. ft. 3rd story. Work is to include concrete footings, concrete foundations, concrete slabs on grade, wood stud bearing walls, wood stud shear walls, fiberglass shingles, 1-hr dwelling unit separations, 1-hour fire barriers for stair and breezeways, rated doors in breezeway, interior nonbearing walls, millwork, and finishes. Special Inspection is NOT required. The roof truss design is a deferred submittal item. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13-R as regulated by the Fire Department.
