(MERIWETHER CIDER HOUSE – TENANT IMPROVEMENT – 1ST AND 2ND STORY) (CZC18-00016) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. Interior nonstructural demolition work within this tenant space was done under permit BLD18-00723. To remodel an existing 1,261 square foot tenant space (858 square feet 1st story and 403 square feet 2nd story) for a new bar tenant. Work is to include a new overhead roll-up window in an existing exterior window opening with a new counter below it, a new structural wood header and trimmers to support the window, a new exit door to Bannock Street, new sister floor joists attached to the existing 2nd story floor joists to accommodate a 100 psf live load, a walk-in cooler, interior nonbearing walls, a toilet room on the 2nd story accessible to the disabled, an upgraded existing 1st story toilet room accessible to the disabled, an interior bar counter, millwork, and finishes. The 2nd story occupant load is 23, the 1st story occupant load is 32, and the future sidewalk seating occupant load is 12. Outdoor seating and the surrounding fence are not allowed to obstruct the egress path from this tenant space.
