(SECTION 37 AXE ROOM – AXE THROWING VENUE – 9 RANGES) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. To convert a 3,740 square foot former personal training cross fit gym to an axe throwing venue with 5 axe throwing ranges (each 12’ x 12’) in the 1,972 square foot room and 4 axe throwing ranges (each 12’ x 12’) in the 1,313 square foot room. No more than 8 people are expected to be at any one axe throwing range. Work is to include a 48 inch high partition wall, 8 foot tall partitions constructed of 2” x 6” wood studs and chain link fencing located between axe throwing ranges with cross bracing at the top of the walls to resist lateral loads, chain link fencing installed horizontally at the top of throwing ranges to protect the fire sprinkler heads, OSB and lumber wall finishes to attach targets to and to absorb wayward axe throws, and furnishings. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The existing toilet rooms are required to be maintained accessible to the disabled. The existing drinking fountains and service sink are required to be maintained. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system, if there is one, is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
