(TRI-TOWN BICYCLE – HYDE PARK – BASEMENT AND 1ST STORY) (3-4-19 PLAN MODIFICATION TO REMOVE SOME PREVIOUSLY APPROVED INTERIOR NONBEARING PARTITIONS ON THE 1ST STORY FROM THE DRAWINGS.) The fire sprinkler system is used for story increase and for the future R-3 Occupancy on the 2nd story. To construct interior improvements within an existing 3,646 square foot tenant space (1,638 square feet 1st story and 2,008 square feet basement) for a bicycle retail sales, repair, and storage tenant. Shell permit BLD14-03039 is required to be finaled before occupancy is allowed under this permit. The 1st story will be used for bicycle retail sales and the basement will be used for bicycle repair and storage. Work is to include interior walls, interior fixed windows, service counters, millwork, and finishes. One single-user toilet room is required on the 1st story and one single-user toilet room is required in the basement. Both toilet rooms are required to be maintained accessible to the disabled. The changing room on the 1st story is required to be accessible to the disabled with a compliant bench within the room. The elevator shaft is required to be blocked so that it will not be a falling hazard. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
