(TRIMCO MILLWORK – BUILDING ADDITION – EAST SIDE) (DRH18-00271) The fire sprinkler system is used for unlimited area of the building. To construct a 6,750 square foot pre-engineered metal building addition on the East side of an existing 58,000 square foot building. After the addition, this building will have a total floor area of about 64,750 square feet. Minimum 60 foot wide yards or public ways are required to be maintained around this building on all sides and corners. Work is to include concrete footings, concrete pedestals, concrete stem walls, concrete slab on grade, steel beam and column moment frames, steel rod cross bracing, recessed concrete loading dock, guard rails at loading dock sides, dock levelers, metal wall purlins and metal siding, metal roof purlins and metal roof panels, two insulated 9’ wide by 10’ high overhead doors at the loading dock, a new overhead door opening in an existing concrete wall with a steel lintel above and a steel column on each side to support the lintel and to resist out-of-plane lateral loads, exterior man doors with exterior landings and ramps, exterior concrete slab on grade for a relocated trash compactor, an interior nonbearing wall with a 12’ wide by 12’ high overhead door and a man door, woodworking equipment with dust collection, a spray booth, and finishes. Special Inspection is required for concrete, steel (including welding and high strength bolting), and for post-installed anchors in hardened concrete. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. This permit is intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for the building addition only. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
