(THE ROYAL) **This building is not fire sprinklered. ** Permit for a bar in Hyde Park and includes a new tenant improvement in a recently renovated shell and core building under permit BLD18-04579. Work includes construction of a bar, walk-in cooler, new non-bearing partitions, outdoor patio, seating area, gaming area, installation of new plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and finishes to be in compliance with Ch. 8 of the 2015 IBC. To avoid a fire sprinkler system, the fire area that contains this A-2 occupancy is limited to 66 occupants and the 14 occupants on the outdoor patio are not included in this calculation, but are figured in the plumbing calculation. Two-hour fire barriers have been installed at the property lines to divide this occupancy into separate fire areas under the prior shell and core permit and shall be maintained.
