(FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH – NAVE, CHAPEL, AND CHANCEL REMODEL) Fire sprinklers used for building area increase. Permit is to remodel the existing chapel, narthex, nave, and chancel areas within the existing church building main level. Approval is contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file. Work to include: removal of raised chancel, removal of pews, removal of select millwork, removal of select finishes, installation of pews, construction of new raised chancel area, select new millwork, electrical work, plumbing, and interior finishes in compliance with Ch. 8 of the current IBC. An alternate is listed on the plans for the removal of pews in the balcony area and installation of new flooring/finishes. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **JHB**

Prevously noted items have been corrected, per IBC definition, the area of work is defined as a platform and not a stage, per the 2015 edition of NFPA 13, platforms do not require sprinklers as long as the items listed under 8.15.6.2 are met, walls and lid of little mech room under the platform have been sheetrocked and taped, this meets the requirements of the mentioned NFPA 13 section. No fire alarm modifications, fire sprinkler inspection is complete, fire extinguihsers are placed with current inspection tags. Final life fire safety inspection for area of work complete.
