I believe that in order to add a circuit for the A/C local disconnect, I''ll likely have to install a new meter box first. Because of the existing conditions (ie. the fuse box, and how the overhead feed comes in) I''d like to get a chance to look at this with an inspector before starting out. Fuse box is behind a Gas water heater and cannot be refed from All in one. It would change wiring configuration of fuse box from a main to a sub panel. Ok to remuve guts of fuse box and turn into J-box. Screw door closed so splices will not be accessable.
