The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of adding, plugging and relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration.

Remodel to complete the final phase of construction in a housing shelter per approved plans. The upgrade agreement is attached to BLD08-02236. This phase of construction involves: select interior demolition of select non-bearing walls, plumbing fixtures, and interior doors per plans; installation of new accessible women's restrooms and unisex restroom; completing or creating 1-hour fire partitions to create a new office, storage room, open observation room, closed observation room, and egress corridors; install new accessible drinking fountain; install a utility sink; related interior finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC; rezone HVAC services; new hot water heater; upgrade the lighting layout; installation of a suspended ceiling system in the new restrooms. The new corridor doors are required to be a 20 minute listed & labeled, self-closing, fire / smoke door / frame assembly. All work shall comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and all applicable codes. A Certificate of Occupancy is to be issued when completed and approved. "This building is fully Fire Sprinklered for R1 occupancy and has an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department." **SRZ**
