The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of a new single family three level home. The system is designed as a passive purge system. The system utilizes CPVC piping and residential type sprinklers.

This structure is required to have a NFPA 13D fire sprinkler system. * Permit for the construction of a new 6206 sq. ft., two story with 643 sq. ft. unfinished basement (first story 5563 sq. ft., second story 643 sq. ft.) single family dwelling with 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, approximately 320 sq. ft. of covered patio/porch and a 1330 sq. ft. attached garage per the approved plans and any notations. R-1A/DA zoning and setbacks per planning. Prescriptive Energy Code is proposed. ***BJM***

This project includes approved code alternates to the following fire protection systems and/or building life safety systems. Please review the supplemental documents attached to this building permit case for details. Fire protection “shop drawings” shall include approved code alternate design.

Large soffit ubstruction over the top of range will need sprinkler protection added. Escutcheon does not cover the entire sprinkler hole in a few places throughout the house, need holes repaired so escutcheon covers entire sprinkler hole with no gaps.

Tenting and rough in passed for the most part. One area in the Master Bedroom needs tenting repaired prior to cover and cpvc piping compatibility with the insulation spray foam needs to be verified prior to cover on any of the vertical sprinkler lines. All other areas can be covered. The control valve under the riser needs to be removed
