Permit for tenant improvements to an existing 7,015 sq ft retail space within the existing Northgate Shopping Center for a new fitness center. The building was previously a video rental store. Work to include: demo of interior non-structural partitions; minor exterior improvements to storefront; new interior non-bearing walls; exterior doors; restrooms and locker rooms with new plumbing; new ceiling; lighting and power; mechanical including new roof top unit and structural reinforcement of roof; and interior finishes in compliance with Ch. 8 of the 2015 IBC. Special inspections required per attached Form 310. The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. Any alterations to the sprinkler system will require a separate permit and shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the fire department. **JAR**
