Called Rose Ormond to let ther know what she had faxed to me on Friday afternoon, 8/4/00, was incorrect and that I had discussed the mishap with Mandy at the property management office. Rose said she will follow up to help get correct information.

Call from Tricia Callies concerning the reassignment of the plan review to me. I told her I was trying to review the proposed project, but the information requested by Kathy Miller, at time of review of plans submitted, was not re-submitted - mainly a site & building key plan so we could properly locate this tenant in relation to other tenants. Tricia said she had such a plan and would fax it to me now and call back in a minute to verify it would work. I ask her to note other tenants that she knows on the plan for our records.

Call from Rose Ormond, Horizon Retail Construction, saying she had just received a message from Tricia Callie telling her the permit was ready to be picked up. I told her this was incorrect as I had just received the requested site & key floor plan from Tricia and that I was now working on the permit. It will most likly be tommorrow before it is ready. I ask Rose if she had a value for the electrical work to be done as this value had not been broken out on the certificate of value. She told me an amount of $4,092.00 for electrical from her bid and I told her I would note this on the certificate of value after verifying from her this amount was part of the total she had placed originally. I told her the permit desk would call her when the permit is ready and give her the cost.

Called Mandy of Complete Property Management. She had faxed a site plan / floor plan to Rose Ormond for the 1602 Hays site for this project. What was received appears to be for 507 hays - no application to this project. Mandy said she was filling in for persons on vacation and would try to find the correct data and send to me.

Reviewed plans from record valut to determine what information we had on thei project site. The last floor plan of record was in 1975 when White Reidel remodeled the building & added additional area. There are to permits indicating remodels since then but no apparent plan requirements for the work.

Talked with Rose Ormond of Horizon Retail Construction, job applicant to request a site & key plan for the project. Only a floor plan was provided and it does not match up with the 1975 floor plans on file. We do not know if existing tenant walls are as shown, and we don't know who the adjacent tenant is.

Call from Tricia Callies of Complete Property management concerning plans that had been presented for permit to install a new wall accross an existing open tenant space and the fact it could take up to 6 weeks for review and issuance of a permit. Based on the address I ask her if it had previously been a house and possibly no legally converted and this may be the reason it would take so long. This would inolve an architect and review for compliance with commercial code. Tricia said she would check with the owners to see if legally converted if it was a house. I suggested her other option would be to contact Marlene Southard to see if it could be changed to a desk permit review permit (one we try to work in between bigger jobs & get out within two weeks) and possibly reassigned since Ron Hill is also working on residential plan reviews in conjunction with commercial reviews. I gave her Marlene's number.
