To construct approximately 40 feet of new non-combustible wall 15' to the east to add 360 sq. feet to the print shop from the warehouse. To remove 25 ' of interior wall surrounding a private office and infill the access door from the corridor to add the 210 sq. ft. area to the existing warehouse area. The new PRINT SHOP area = 1,596 SQ. FT.; new WAREHOUSE area = 1,182 sq. ft.; total area of remodel 2,778 sq. ft. New walls to be of non-combustible materials with fire-code sheetrock covering; extend new suspended ceiling grid from the warehouse into the new area; relocate double doors from west end of printing shop corridor wall approximate 36 feet to the east and install a single door at the original location, infilling approximately 3 feet of corridor wall. Maintain rated corridor construction & protection. Alterations to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler / alarm system as necessary per current adopted codes & ordinances. Using previously approved architectural plans from the record vault per city policy. Red-lined on previously approved plans the proposed changes and Kathy Horton of Idaho Power Co. provided reference plans of a legible nature for assisting determination of scope of work and how it is to be done.

Met with Bob Ross concerning plan submittal for quick permit process for Idaho Power Co. remodel of third floor print shop area increase and warehouse decrease. Told Bob a copy of the original approved plans from the records vault needs to be provided with each submittal as outlined in the Boise Policy Guidelines. I sent Bob to Records to obtain a copy of the original approved basement plan to verify same existing uses and for policy compliance. He returned with copy and plans were accepted. He also provided us with a letter from Kathy Horton, representing Idaho Power stating they would have full set of as-built plans for the entire building completed by December 31, 2000 to accompany the Record Vault approved plans to help in processing for permits in a quicker fashion.
