*E.M.I. OFFICE - SUITE #340* To create a third suite on the third floor dividing the last 1,918 sq. ft. from the original Naturmark Tenant space to become the E.M.I. offices. To relocate the existing double doors between rooms 332 & #331 to access from the atrium area. To infill interior opening left in wall between rooms 332 & 331 with metal studs & 5/8" sheetrock. Verify the new tenant separation wall between Suite #320, McFain & Associates & E.M.I., Suite #340 is complete. A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO USE OF THIS TENANT SPACE. Per the "Letter of Agreement" on file, the 1-hour fire-rated, Northeast Stair enclosure extension to be constructed on the first floor per 8-1/" x 11" plan attached, and removal of any storage the the storage area under the stair enclosures, is to be completed before a permanent occupancy certificate can be issued to this tenant. The 1-hour stair enclosure is one of the two required exits serving this tenant space and must be completed as a condition of occupancy. THIS BUILDING IS FULLY SPRINKLED W/ SPRINKLER SYSTEM USED AS SUBSTITUTE FOR 1-HOUR FIRE-RESISTIVE CONSTRUCTION. There is a smoke control system originally required to allow the atrium per the 1981 NFPA "101", Section 6-2.2.3.1 & 26-4.3. The continuing proper functioning of the smoke control system SHALL be verified as a condition of this permit. The smoke control system shall be activated byany of the following: 1) smoke detectors located at the top of the atrium and adjacent to each return air intake into the atrium; 2) a fire alarm system; 3) the fire sprinkler system; 4) and manual controls which are readily accessible to the fire department. FIRE INSPECTOR / DEPARTMENT APPROVAL REQUIRED AS A CONDITION OF THIS PERMIT FOR FINAL OCCUPANCY BY THE TENANT. PC#00-906/drs

IT WAS AGREED THAT THE CONDITIONS WOULD BE ADDED TO THE FIRS PERMIT, HOOPER & CORNELL, SUITE 300, FOR COMPLETION AS A CONDITION OF OCCUPANCY BY ALL THREE TENANTS. THE 2-YEAR PERIOD WAS UP MAY 6, 2000.
