Description	(BROADBENT BUILDING BASEMENT STAIRWAY) The basement of this building is fire sprinklered because it has a floor area over 1,500 square feet. To construct a new stairway between the basement and first floor of an historic building. A portion of the first floor diaphragm will be removed. Work is to include a concrete footing, a bearing/shear wall, 1-hr corridor walls, 20 minute doors, and a stairway all per approved drawings and plan review conditions on file. The location of fire sprinkler heads in the basement shall comply with NFPA 13-1996 as regulated by the Fire Department. PC-949-00 CJW
