Description	(J R SIMPLOT COMPANY BIOLAB) This building is fire sprinklered to allow hazardous materials that would not otherwise be allowed. To remodel a 1,800 square foot area within and existing 18,000 square foot building. A 1,437 square foot "lab block" made up of a radioactive lab, a molecular lab, a transformation lab, an equipment room and a small office is being created. The quantity of hazardous materials within the "lab block" shall not exceed the exempt quantities established by 1997 UBC Tables 3-D and 3-E. Selective nonstructural demolation is covered under this permit. Work is to include 1-hr occupancy separation walls, interior nonbearing walls, interior doors, modifications to the suspended ceiling system, mill work, interior finishes, an exhaust system, and equipment all per approved drawings and plan review conditions on file. The location of fire sprinkler heads shall comply with NFPA 13-1996 as regulated by the Fire Department. PC-997-00 CJW
