*GREENLEAF FLORAL WAREHOUSE - WHOLESALE FLORAL* To correct and create a record of work done previous to obtaining a permit and for purpose of issuing a Certificate of Occupancy for this expanded tenant space per this permit and work done to correct code violations of the mezzanine area under BLD00-00732, issued 8/02/00 (copy attached to plans). To complete or verify completion 39 feet of 1-hour tenant separation wall, constructed in line with the existing west side tenant separation wall and extended to the north tenant wall of this space to separate a 3,330 sq. ft. portion of warehouse previously a part of West Coast Paper, 1050 W. River St. To remove a 46 foot portion of original rear tenant wall to make the 3,300 sq. ft. area a part of the Greenleaf Floral Warehouse and utilizing an existing exit door system located in the northeast corner of the new space as a second exit for the expanded occupant load & use. Add additional exit sign & verify illumination of exit way to second exit per sec. 1003.2.8 & .9, UBC. The interior of the warehouse & mezzanine were / are being remodeled under above noted permit of 8/2/00. New total area is 13,295 sq, ft. (8,826 s.f. warehouse storage, O.L. 18; 4,413 s.f. wholesale / office, O.L. 47). NOTE: This building is fully sprinkled for unlimited allowable area per records on file. PC#00-999/drs

TOOK TO DAN S. Reviewed plan note from fire dept. analyst and modified the permit to recognize the limited wholsale access to the public licensed retailers that can go to the site and walk through the facility to purchase the flowers or accessories they need. This was viewed more as a professional service such as an office rather than a full retail sales use so and occupant load factor of 100 was used as for offices instead of the nornal 30 factor. Occupant load was set at 44 wholsale area; 3 office area & 18 in storage/work areas = 13295 sq.ft. W/65 occupant load.
