PERMIT APPROVED FOR DEMOLITION ONLY OF THOSE TRUSSES, GIRDER TRUSSES, ROOF SHEATHING, FLOOR SHEATHING, INTERIOR FINISHES & INSULATION ALL AS NOTED ON THE DEMOLITION PLANS AND THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS REPORT FOR THE STRUCUTRAL DAMAGE. No other work covered or allowed under the scope of this permit.
Discussed with Sam Rogers if any review of the sprinkler system was required during the demo phase. The sprinkler system will be off during this time frame and until the structural truss & girders are replaced. Sam said he would let me know if this was needed. Sam did not contact me and when I went to his site he had left. Processing for issuance of demo permit.

Called Dan Ireland, Colby's Service, to verify the cost of the demlition is the $20,000.00 declared. He said it was. I ask him abourt the other plans submitted and discussed my understanding that the permit applied for after the demo permit was to be for the structural upgrade only to get the permit out faster and allow the building to be closed in against weather. Notes on the plans indicate additional work which will take additional plan submittals to include mechanical for kitchen; routing to CDH required; sprinkler system upgrades; East wall 1-hour construction - prox. to pty line; etc. He will contact architect and discuss. Need determination to know how to proceed with plans.

Call to Steve Brenner, CSHQA Architect. Left Voice mail concerning the determination of scope of plan for new work. Need engineers stamp on the truss plans & girder engineering w/ stamp if different than regular truss. Also need engineered call out for the coonnection of double trusses to be girrder if applicable for load sharing. Call Steve twice and left voice mail both time's.
