Called Rob Stapley, PAM Oil local manager to see if Jim Call, Fire Protection Engineer had told him when we might expect his recent site inspection report (4/12/01) on current quantities of hazardous materials in relation to his 13 point proposal of 1/20/00 that was to be used to bring the quantities of hazardous materials to be within the allowable limits of Tables 3-D & 3-E as an "S-1" occupancy for which the plans and application had been initially submitted. If the quantities are not met in this report the facility will be re-classified as an "H" occupancy and plans returned to the architect of record and action taken toward the tenant to alleviate the situation until the code requirements are met. NOTE: Steve Keuter, Fire Captan, has notified the tenant that on May 15, 2001 he will be by to see if the permits are issued for performing the necessary work to obtain a C.O. or if the work has been completed and a C.O. has been issued.

Notified the manager, Rob Stapley, that all the rack engineering was not presented for the different rack configuations indicated on the architects plans. I had received Bryce Stapley, structural engineer, report for a portion of the existing racking stating the the design loads and method of attachment to the floor and his comment that he had reviewed the connection to the floor for the racks and they were completed per his design. This still needs to be verified in the filed by structural inspectors once the permit is issued. The submittal of plans on the 29 of March were for one set of shelving with a catwalk at 8 feet (mezzanine). Another set is existing for which an analysis is required to show evidence of code compliance. I also need a completed certificate of value. Plan on hold pending resubmital.

Ask for all engineering design calcs for the existing racks that have been installed without permit & for any additional racks proposed for replacement of racks that engineering design or non-code compliance is not available. Rob Stapley will provide information. Also need a completed certificate of value for rack permit.
