only one plan set was originally permitted due to the excessive amount of red-lining. this set indicated finished basement area both on the foundation and electrical sheets. routing sheets were marked in the finished and unfinished boxes. being that the pemit was worded correctly and that the contractor now wants the verbage to indicate entirely unfinished basement area, a two hour administrative fee will be charged at $42.00 per hour.

per conversation with Scott from Gauranteed Quality Homes. Mechanical inspector requested that exhaust fan be installed in basement as permit indicates area being finished. Routing slip for project has boxes checked for both finished and un-finished basement area. If approved plans show total unfinished basement, I can generate a new permit specifying that this is indeed an unfinished basement. Permit verbage will then be modified to require additional permits when basement is completed. If plans show any part of basement being finished then exhaust fan will be installed. If plans show finished and home owner wants it to unfinished there will be two hours admistrative fee at $42.00 an hour charged to revise permit.
