5/2/07 - See MIS07-00097 for verification of completing work required under this permit. (COLLISTER SHOPPING CENTER Building #2) To upgrade existing vacant building to Type V-1hr. construction and bring area separation walls into code compliance. Work to include providing a one-hour rating for roof-ceiling/beams/supporting columns, fire damper installations at ceiling penetrations, extending parapets to 30" minimum at area separation walls, extending area separation walls through exterior front canopy, providing a 90 minute rated door in area separation wall, new structural modifications to existing exterior canopy, some new interior columns and footings, upgrading east side restrooms to current accessibility standards, installing a portion of rated suspended ceiling, new tempered storefront entry doors and adjacent windows, fire sprinkler work, plumbing work, mechanical work, and electrical work. NO OCCUPANCY IS ALLOWED UNDER THIS PERMIT. This is a Scope of Work Permit. LETTER OF COMPLETION TO BE ISSUED WHEN DONE. Upgrading of exterior canopy to one-hour rated construction is being done under a separate permit (BLD01-01425). NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase. JCB
