(EMPIRE BUILDING - BSMT CONFERENCE ROOM) This building is fire sprinklered under the provisions of the 1994 UCBC because it is too tall and too big. To construct a 1,100 square foot conference room and an adjacent 130 square foot kitchennette in the basement of the Empire Building. The conference room will be a common area for the use of all building tenants. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, interior doors, interior windows, suspended ceilings, and finishes all per approved drawings and plan review conditions on file. The capacity of the conference room (73) shall be posted on an approved sign near the main exit from the room. The location of fire sprinkler heads shall comply with NFPA 13-1999 as regulated by the Fire Department. PC01-0781 **CJW**
