Received call from Kurt of Olson & Associates regarding floor drain in storage building addition. The owner wants to park his vehicle in this area, so the floor drain will be required. I told Kurt to call Lee Rice for the plumbing requirements to show drain connecting to sewer. Kurt informed me that they were pouring concrete, and I told him I would call the inspectors. In the meantime for him to bring in the requirements asap.

1. Called and talked to Kurt with Olson & Associates - we need structural calculations. He brought over Calcs., we questioned drain w/grease trap and checked with Jim Wylie. No Civil required, but talked to Lee Rice. Lee stated that if a drain w/grease trap is used for storage of vehicle in the building, then we need plumbing showing connection to sewer. Kurt with Olson & Associates will call client to see what he wants to do. Hold plans for (1) day per Marlene.
