(MATTER ARCHITECTURE) This building is not fire sprinklered. To modify the interior of an existing 3,380 square foot building (Phase I) and prepare the 1,976 square foot first floor for occupancy by an architectural firm. Work is to include a restroom accessible to the disabled, new columns and beams to strengthen the 2nd floor, and stairway modifications all per approved drawings, engineering, and plan review conditions on file. A seismic upgrade (Phase II) shall be provided under a future phase permit. The crawlspace is approved for building mechanical equipment only. The 2nd floor shall NOT be occupied until the completion of Phase II. The 1994 UCBC shall be used to define code compliance. PC02-0017 **CJW**
