(HASTINGS - TENANT EXPANSION) This building is fire sprinklered for area increase. To expand an existing 16,500 square foot retail sales tenant space into an adjacent 10,200 square foot area. After the expansion, this tenant space will have a total floor area of 26,700 square feet. This permit replaces BLD01-02863 which was issued earlier. A food preparation and a food service area are also being created under this permit. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, suspended ceilings, display fixtures, checkout aisles, and millwork all per approved drawings and plan review conditions on file. Openings in an existing 2-hr area separation wall are being filled in with 2-hr fire-resistive wall construction. The location of fire sprinkler heads shall comply with NFPA 13-1999 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
