(EMPIRE BLDG - BASEMENT HALLWAY) This building is fire sprinklered under the provisions of the 1994 UCBC because it is too tall, too big, and has too many stories. To create a hallway in the basement and to surround an existing basement stairway with storefront glass. The shell for a 1,000 square foot pre-conference room is also being created in this 14,000 square foot basement. Since a tenant space is NOT allowed to exit through another tenant space, Suite B120 (1,100 square foot building conference room) and the new Suite B110 (1,000 square foot pre-conference room) shall be under the control of the same entity. Security hardware on doors shall not obstruct exiting. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, storefront glass, interior doors, interior windows, and interior finishes all per approved drawings and plan review conditions on file. The location of fire sprinkler heads shall comply with NFPA 13-1999 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
