1. (Tenant demising walls) In buildings containing tenant spaces with occupancy groups classified as A, B, E, F, M, and S, each tenant space shall be separated from other spaces by a wall having a fire-resistive rating of not less than one hour. The tenant separation wall shall extend from the floor to the underside of the highest adjacent ceiling in either tenant space.
