I spoke to the contractor about the hollow columns at the entry way. After speaking to Bill sprinkler protection will not be required in them as long as the fire stopping is installed and the noncombustible insulation is installed against the combustible surfaces

1. Called Trent with BRS on structural drawings for the pre-engineered building. He stated that he incorporated them into their drawings for the rest of the building.

Called Trent Koci regarding the missing documents that are required. Trent told me that he only has the (3) civil plans but is waiting for the drainage calculations and O&M from his civil engineer. He has called Butler for the structural design and calculations, but won't receive them until the end of the week or next week. I explained to Trent that it is policy that the pre-engineered structural design and calculations must be submitted with the plans at the time of permit application or the permit will be voided. After speaking to Dan Stuart, Dan stated that the permit needs to be voided. I also informed Trent that the check for the plan check fees will be refunded in approximately six weeks. I faxed Trent a letter to confirm this information with a copy of the "Pre-engineered Buildings and the Application Process" form. I sent Linda an email to void the permit.

2/28/02 - Informed runner for applicant that (3) more sets of civil drawings were required with the drainage calculations and O&M. Marlene also gave her the "H Occupancy" form for requirements to be submitted.
3/1/02- Called Trent Koci with BRS Architects to follow-up on missing documents (3 sets of civil drawings, O&M, drainage calculations, and "H Occupancy"). I also informed Trent that I need (1) more set of structural calculations and the Butler engineering calculations and shop drawings. I told Trent that these would be required before I could start the routing process, by this afternoon.
