This residence does not require an NFPA 13D system per Dave Miller, 9/20/01 Thornburry Drive (Highland Hackberry #2). All other requirements apply which include: Fire Department vehicular access must be within 150'-0" of all portions of this non-sprinklered building. All Fire Department access roads and fire lanes are to be a minimum 20'-0" width, 48'-0" outside turning radius and 28'-0" inside radius. (BCC 7-01, UFC 902.2.2.1)
Fire Hydrant locations were not shown on the site plan. Hydrants must meet fire flow requirements for this structure. Hydrants in residential areas shall be on not less than 300 ft nominal centers. Hydrant spacing is by Boise City Ordinance. Maximum distance to hydrant shall be 250'-0". Hydrants must meet City of Boise specifications (UFC 901.2.2.2, 901.3 and 903).
