Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, suspended ceiling modifications, a new 16 foot wide overhead door opening in a masonry shear wall, headers and trimmers at the new door opening, tube steel columns at each side to the new door opening, modifying the restroom to be accessible to the disabled, and interior finishes all per approved drawings, engineering, and plan review report on file. Spoke with Patrick McKeegan and at his request, to Pete Conlin, Colliers Int'l, regarding conflicting info regarding alarms on plans/application. Was told building now has two existing alarm systems, one in Petco and one in sprinkler riser room, both monitored offsite by differnet companies. Pete indicates AHU duct detectors are required in TI and existing alarm system may not be capable of monitoring; investigating option to modify existing sprinkler monitoring panel or a panel replacement; also trying to get Petco to disconnect their 2nd connection to the sprinkler waterflow switch, to avoid duplicate transmission of sprinkler flow alarms to the FD. Alarm plans will be submitted for whatever mod's are required.
