Description	(AHRENS AND DeANGELI - 6TH FLOOR) This building is fire sprinklered because it is a high-rise. To create a 2,683 square foot office tenant space and to construct interior improvements. This space is located on the 6th floor (14,600 square feet total) of an existing high rise building. The "core" has a floor area of 2,670 square feet. The two existing "core" restrooms will be upgraded to be accessible to the disabled. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, interior windows and doors, millwork, finishes, and suspended ceilings all per the approved drawings and plan review report on file. All new work associated with the existing elevator lobby/corridor shall comply with the 1-hr corridor provisions of the 2000 IBC. If not already existing, firesafing shall be installed at the perimeter of the floor (within this tenant space) between the floor and the spandrel glass. This permit does NOT allow occupancy of adjacent tenant areas. The location of fire sprinkler heads shall comply with NFPA 13-1999 as regulated by the Fire Department. (7-18-03) A "LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING" WAS SIGNED BY REPRESENTATIVES OF UNICO PROPERTIES (DAN PREISLER ON JUNE 17, 2003) AND THE CITY OF BOISE (TIM HOGLAND ON JUNE 19, 2003). THIS AGREEMENT ALLOWS THE PROVISIONS OF THE 2000 IBC TO BE APPLIED TO INDIVIDUAL FLOORS. IN ORDER TO APPLY THE 2000 IBC TO A FLOOR THE FIRE ALARM, FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM, AND HIGH-RISE LIFE SAFETY SYSTEMS ON THAT FLOOR (AND THE INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORTING THESE SYSTEMS) MUST BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2000 IBC.
