(HONG KONG SPA) Remodel for a new day spa tenant in an existing 1,142 sq.ft. one story building with a 750 sq. ft. storage/mechanical equipment basement per approved plans on file. Building was formerly a veterinary clinic with a Certificate of Occupancy on file and prior to that, the building was a residence. Work to include a few new interior walls, interior doors with accessible hardware, providing handrails with extensions per code on all stairways and ramp, providing a landing at the bottom of an exterior stairway from the basement, providing separation of combustible storage in basement from main floor with 5/8" type X gyp. board on basment ceiling and stairway walls with a 1-3/4" solid core with closer at top of stairway, adding handrails to existing section of exterior accessible ramp, a new accessible ramp section, providing an accessible parking space, providing tempered glass windows where required, remodeling main floor restroom to meet current accessibility standards, new accessible roll-in shower, new sauna per manufacturer's specifications, interior finish, new water heater, new lighting on main floor, plumbing work, and electrical work. Previous interior demolition work done under BLD03-00939. A Certificate of Occupancy is to be issued when completed and approved. NOTE: This building is NOT fire sprinklered. (PC#0221-03) JCB
