Project qualifies as existing tenant; work does not involve load bearing walls, are not part of or do not form a rated corridor and we have a previously approved architectural plan on file for use with this project. NOTE: Final approval & occupancy of this tenant in this space is subject to field verification by the fire inspector that the existing sprinkler system and area of coverage is still in compliance with NFPA 13 and sections 903 & 907, 2000 IBC as regulated by fire department. Received copy of previously approved plans, Clarks Photograpy, from Marlene Southard who had discussed code issues with Larry Hanson. This was originally to be and MIS permit for use as-is by tenant. Larry came in to pick up MIS permit and we discussed that the tenantwanted to make interior changes by removing some of the existing walls and open up the floor area in retail & hair salon portion. We voided the MIS permit that had been prepared, MIS03-00144, and replaced with this BLD permit for remodel and to issue a certificate of occupancy upon approval of all required inspections.
