(SCP GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES)(WAREHOUSE SECURITY FENCE / DOOR HARDWARE / ESTABLISH NEW CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY AS ONE BUILDING) Within and existing 129,192 building & court yard, install an 8 ft. high chain link security fence, to include three sliding gates & and one exit door, between the Fabrication Area and the Materials & Equipment Handling Area, to allow restricted access into the Materials & Equipment Handling Area by use of electronic strike & Card Reader Control. Egress from the Materials & Equipment Handling Area side shall have exit panic device door hardware; to establish a new certificate of occupancy to include alll areas of SCP complex as one building. All per approved plans to include red-lined comments on plans by reviewing agencies and attached plan review comments & conditions from all reviewing agencies as part of approved plans. This building is fully sprinklered. A "Certificate of Occupancy" is required as a condition of this permit to combine the SCP Complex into one building and as evidence of final inspections and approvalfor this scope of work. Received letter from architect changing the door hardware on new door #100 from Manetic Lock to Electric Strike. Attached letter to plan and lined through mag lock note and refered to letter.

Received fax from architect Ben Hill changing the Mag Lock device fro an electrocinc strike for code compliance per the 2000 IBC. The mag-lock with a sensor at door and emergency release button plus tie in to alarm and sprinkler system for release if either is activated or a loss of power releases lock was allowed under the UBC per a city policy referencing NFPA 101. Under current code the section added does not allow use of mag-locks in "S & F" occupancies.
