Architect requested use of 2003 IBC, Sec. 1019, exception #9, which will allow the construction of non-rated stair enclosures when serving two stories when the building is fully sprinklered vs. the 2000 IBC which requires the rated stair enclosure. This alternate was approved by Jennifer Gilliland on 6/10/04. A copy was faxed to Cornel Larson so he could provide response' to the plan review comments of 6/7/04.
